How do I set up the initial consultation?
Contact me through email at firstname.lastname@example.org or phone at (720) 707 8482 and we can meet at my office to decide if we are a good fit. The initial consultation is free and can take up to 50 minutes.
How long is a session?
One session runs for 60 minutes.
Sessions outside of the counseling office either at client's homes or in the community run for at least 90 minutes.
What is your fee?
For standard therapy sessions, my fee is $150 / per 55 minute session in the counseling office. For mentoring sessions outside the counseling office, my fee is $165 per 60 minute session. These sessions can take place out in the community, hiking trails, parks, client's home, or preferred location. I do reserve a limited number of reduced fee slots. Please email me if the reserved fee slots are of interest to you and I will let you know if I have any of these slots currently available for you.
Frequency of sessions?
Change happens over time. I recommend weekly sessions (or twice a week if preferred) in order to build a good connection and solid foundation. It can be difficult to build momentum in the therapeutic process when meeting less than weekly particularly if there are any cancellations. Once we sense that progress is being made, we can transitions to every other week and decrease the frequency of sessions from there.
What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept cash, check, & credit/debit cards. Payment is due at the time of service. I require all clients to provide a credit/debit card to be kept on file so that if cash or check payment is not provided at time of service, I can charge the card.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please give a 48 hour notice of cancellation to allow other individuals to reserve the time slot. If you do not cancel your booked session within 48 hours of its scheduled time, you will be charged the full fee.
